Signature Cruise Experiences Recommends Arriving in TAMPA, FL THE Day BEFORE Embarkation.

Signature Cruise Experiences highly recommends that guests arrive in Tampa the day before embarkation to alleviate stress from any potential travel delays or issues. More guests miss the ship’s departure due to severe weather and missed flights than for any other reason.

Selecting a Hotel

With so many different options of hotel properties in the Tampa area to choose from, if our guests act soon, they should have opportunities to select a hotel in whatever location or price range they desire. For those unfamiliar with the hotels in the area, Signature Cruise Experiences has compiled a list of potential hotels along with a direct link to each reservation procedure. Going to the reservation link is the only way to determine both price and availability for each hotel.

For your convenience, we’ve secured a block of rooms at The Westshore Grand, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, which will also serve as the departure point for our organized ground transportation to the cruise terminal on Embarkation Day.  

Some of these hotels may offer low cost or free airport shuttle service and/or shuttle to the cruise port terminal on embarkation day (guests should contact hotels directly to confirm provided options.)

Ground Transportation to the Pier on Embarkation Day

Regardless of where you stay the night before embarkation, you may elect to purchase Signature Cruise Experiences’ exclusive coach transportation to the pier on Embarkation Day. The coaches will leave from The Westshore Grand at designated times with the goal of having the guests arrive at the pier no later than 1 PM. 

Your luggage will be loaded onto the motor coach by our team, and you will be assisted at the pier by the cruise line porters. No tips or lifting necessary! Ground Transportation is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Ground transportation from The Westshore Grand to the Pier costs $35/person – advanced reservation is required by December 1^st, 2026. Guests may register for the Hotel to Pier Ground Transportation now by completing the Transportation Form [CLICK HERE]. Once your form is submitted and reviewed by the Signature Cruise Experiences team, the Hotel to Pier Ground Transportation service will be added to your reservation and $35 per person will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise specified. Once complete, a reservation confirmation will be sent to you by email. 
 
You will also receive an email confirmation with further instructions regarding the Hotel to Pier Ground Transportation approximately 15 days prior to the cruise. This email will entail details of shuttle times and check-in location.
